   Catherine Corrigall-Brown is an Affiliate Professor of Sociology on the College of British Columbia in Vancouver.  Her analysis focuses on social actions and protest, notably analyzing what retains people concerned in activism over time, framing, and id.  She is the writer of 4 books, together with her first guide Patterns of Protest, printed with Stanford College Press.  She has additionally printed greater than 42 articles, guide chapters, and overview essays.  These works have appeared in journals akin to Social Forces, Mobilization, the American Behavioral Scientist, the International Journal of Comparative Sociology, Sociological Views, Social Motion Research and the Canadian Overview of Sociology. This analysis was funded by grants from the Nationwide Science Basis (US) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Analysis Council (Canada). She has served because the Chair of the Peace, Battle, and Social Battle part of the American Sociological Affiliation and on the council of the Collective Motion and Social Motion Part of the American Sociological Affiliation. She is presently a deputy editor of Mobilization, the premiere social actions journal, and on the editorial board of Sociological Compass. She was awarded the Killam School Educating Prize in 2017 and acquired the Early Investigator Award for greatest early profession scholar from the Canadian Sociological Affiliation in 2013.
