Christine Hess Orthmann holds an M.S. in prison justice from the College of Cincinnati and has been writing about and researching numerous features of prison justice for greater than 20 years. Jon Kingsbury, JD, has been with the Minneapolis (Minnesota) Police Division since 1995. Most of his profession has been spent in uniform, each as a patrol officer and a supervisor. Along with his time in uniform, he has expertise as a division bodily health teacher, protection ways coordinator, subject coaching officer, SWAT crew supervisor, and in-service coach. Lt. Kingsbury obtained a BA from the College of Minnesota and a JD from Hamline College Faculty of Law, graduating magna cum laude. He has taught faculty programs in report writing and prison process, and has acted as a regulation enforcement marketing consultant in the areas of use of drive and search and seizure. He’s a member of a number of organizations, together with the Minnesota State Bar Affiliation, the Worldwide Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Affiliation, and the Nationwide Tactical Officers Affiliation.
