Biography

Ansel C. Ugural, Ph.D., is a visiting professor of mechanical engineering on the New Jersey Institute of Know-how, Newark, New Jersey. He was a Nationwide Science Foundation fellow and has taught on the Faculty of Wisconsin-Madison, Madison, Wisconsin. Dr. Ugural held positions at Fairleigh Dickinson Faculty, the place he served for twenty years as a professor and chairman of the mechanical engineering division. He has considerable and varied industrial experience in every full-time and consulting capacities as a design, development, and evaluation engineer.

Dr. Ugural earned his M.S. in mechanical engineering and Ph.D. in engineering mechanics from the Faculty of Wisconsin–Madison. He has been a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the American Society of Engineering Education. He is moreover listed in Who’s Who in Engineering.
