Biography

 

Professor Fang Lin Luo is for the time being working as every a professor at AnHui School, HeFei, China and the director of the Evaluation Institute of “Renewable Power and Power Electronics.” He has held a joint place in Nanyang Technological School (NTU), Singapore since 2012. Beforehand, he was an affiliate professor with the School of Electrical and Digital Engineering, NTU. He acquired his B.Sc. Diploma, First Class with Honors (magna cum laude) in Radio-Digital Physics on the Sichuan School, Chengdu, China, and his Ph. D. Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Laptop Science (EE & CS) at Cambridge School, England, UK in 1986.

After his graduation from Sichuan School, he joined the Chinese language language Automation Evaluation Institute of Metallurgy (CARIM), Beijing, China as a Senior Engineer. From 1981-1982, he went to the Entreprises Saunier Duval, Paris, France as a mission engineer. Prof. Luo was with Hocking NDT Ltd, Allen-Bradley IAP Ltd. and Simplatroll Ltd. in England as a Senior Engineer after he acquired his Ph. D. Diploma from Cambridge School. He is a Fellow of Cambridge Philosophical Society, and a Senior Member of IEEE. He has printed 15 books and larger than 300 technical papers in IEE/IET Proceedings and IEEE Transactions, and quite a few Worldwide Conferences.
